QuickBooks Online Accountant Gives Professional Accountants Access to Key Client Information Fast
Innovative Cloud Technology Enables Accounting Professionals to Perform Key Tasks, Connect With QuickBooks Online Clients from Anywhere, Anytime
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (November 08, 2011) – The days of “Let me get back to you” are over. Accounting professionals can now perform essential client accounting tasks and work with their clients’ books on the Web, enabling them to provide counsel and quickly answer their clients’ questions from anywhere with an Internet connection.
Today, from the Sleeter Group’s Accounting Solutions Conference in Las Vegas, NV., Intuit announced the free pilot program for QuickBooks Online Accountant that can help accountants save time, increase efficiency and maximize their billable time. QuickBooks Online Accountant is an easy-to-use, Web-based service that provides online access to client data and tools specifically designed for accounting professionals to work more efficiently with their clients.
“Because of the rapid growth of QuickBooks Online customers, we wanted to provide accounting professionals with a product that included all the client data and accounting tools they needed in one place to better service their online clients,” said Samir Khosla, director of product management for the Intuit Accounting Professionals Division. “Now with QuickBooks Online Accountant, accounting professionals can further streamline their workflow and counsel their clients from anywhere, anytime they have internet access, resulting in more billable time.”
QuickBooks Online grew 40 percent last year and is now used by more than 280,000 small businesses. With this growth, more and more small businesses also are looking to accountants for support. Accounting professionals can now serve these clients’ needs promptly and provide accurate updates and information right away without having to go back to the office or log into their desktop software.
“Online accounting simplified my life,” explained Peter Cullen, managing principal at Core Performance Consulting, LLC., a beta user of QuickBooks Online Accountant and Intuit Accountant Council and Advisory Board member. “If you are looking for new clients, to complete your work faster, and make engagements more profitable, QuickBooks Online Accountant is a tremendously efficient tool.”
Expanding Client Service Beyond Office Walls
