Openbravo recognized with the IBM EMEA Innovative Solutions 2009 award in the data management category
– Openbravo was honored during the Information On Demand (IOD) show in Berlin –
Barcelona, Spain (June 09, 2009) – Openbravo, the leading developer of web-based open source Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Point of Sale (POS) solutions for businesses, took home the IBM EMEA Innovative Solutions 2009 award in the data management category. This honor was presented in front of 1,000 people at the largest and most comprehensive IBM Information Management event in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).
The Information On Demand (IOD) show took place in Berlin from June 3-5th, where community members came together to hear the latest industry insights, explore new innovations, share best practices, grow technical skills and knowledge, build business relationships and learn how leading organisations are deploying Information On Demand to achieve real business performance. Numerous IBM business partners participated, among which Openbravo’s COO Josep Mitjà was present to collect the award.
