Intacct and Partners Honored by Accounting Today
Intacct Channel VP, Taylor Macdonald, and CPA Programs Leader, Amy Vetter, Named to Publication’s 2012 Top 100 People and “Ones to Watch” Lists
SAN JOSE, Calif. (September 28, 2012) – Intacct and several of its most successful partners have been recognized by Accounting Today in its new listings of top people from the accounting industry. Taylor Macdonald, Intacct’s vice president of Channels, was named to the Accounting Today Top 100 People list for the ninth time in his career. Joining Macdonald on the 2012 list are executives from several Intacct strategic partners, including AICPA, Arxis Technology, CliftonLarsonAllen, CPA2Biz, and WithumSmith+Brown. Intacct’s CPA Programs Leader, Amy Vetter, was also named “One to Watch” by the industry publication.
Taylor Macdonald heads Intacct’s world-class partner organization, which includes 20 of the top 100 VARs and 19 of the top 100 accounting firms, according to Accounting Today. His leadership has resulted in record success for Intacct business partners. In its last fiscal year, ended July 31, Intacct partners closed deals with more than three times as many companies as the year prior.
Meanwhile Vetter, whose responsibilities include supporting Intacct’s CPA partners through joint marketing and communications programs, “deserves watching at cloud accounting pioneer Intacct,” said the editors at Accounting Today. Over the last year, Intacct and CPA2Biz have infused significant investments in enhancing the benefits offered to the Intacct Accountants Program membership. The program is seeing unprecedented increases in firm engagement and adoption of Intacct by their clients.
“It goes without saying that Taylor and Amy are terrific members of the Intacct team, and we’re very proud of the programs they’ve built and continue to grow at Intacct,” said Robert Reid, CEO of Intacct. “You can tell a lot about a business by the company it keeps, and so we’re equally excited to see so many of our partner executives on this prestigious list. With tremendous help from all our partners, Intacct is helping growing businesses worldwide benefit from cloud financial management and accounting software.”
Other notable people making this year’s list were several prominent state senators, and both presidential nominees, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.
