Intacct Names Marti Pozzi Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Senior Siebel and Oracle Executive to Drive Expansion as Demand Grows for Intacct’s On-Demand Financial Applications
SAN JOSE, Calif. (September 08, 2008) –
Intacct, a leader in on-demand financial management and accounting applications, today announced the appointment of Marti Pozzi as its senior vice president of worldwide sales. To accelerate beyond the already sizzling 130 percent growth the company achieved in its 2008 fiscal year, Pozzi will focus her attention on building out the Intacct sales team and enabling Intacct’s rapidly expanding network of channel partners. Pozzi will report directly to Mike Braun, president and CEO of Intacct. Kathy Lord, Intacct’s vice president of sales, remains with the company in a new role as vice president of sales programs and operations, supporting both Intacct’s sales team and Intacct’s channel partners and reporting to Pozzi.
Pozzi brings to Intacct more than 25 years of sales, channels and management experience. She spent 11 years at Siebel Systems from its earliest days through its rapid growth and IPO, where she managed a several hundred person sales and channel organization generating multiple hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue per year. Pozzi remained with Siebel when it was acquired by Oracle in 2006, where she managed sales to small and medium-sized businesses (SMB). During her years at Siebel, Pozzi held a variety of positions including building the company’s worldwide inside sales organization and the SMB business, highlighted by growing Siebel’s Software as a Service (SaaS) revenues more than 200 percent year over year.
Prior to Siebel and Oracle, Pozzi held domestic and international executive sales leadership positions at leading high-tech companies including Collabra, GAIN (which was sold to Sybase), Marketron and NYNEX. In addition, she also served previously as national sales and marketing manager for Oracle’s VAR channel. Pozzi holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Communications from University of California, Santa Barbara.
